Abstract

Assessment is an integral part of the learning system, especially Arabic language learning. Assessment not only serves to provide information about the success or deterioration of learning processes and outcomes, but also as a feedback for improvement of the learning system. In fact, it is a reflection on the quality of the test. One of the tools in the assessment is the test. This paper would like to explain how a good test is and what are its specifications.. The method used is qualitative by making scientific books the main references. The results of this study state that there are at least four main characteristics inherent in a good test, namely: validity, reliability, east of administration and measurable
